persil!

I am sure you came to this post to find out what I was raving about on Instagram in terms of my clothes smelling mighty fine! It isn’t just my clothes! Persil ProClean makes my entire house smell divine!! And if you don’t believe me go and ask my lover John! He would attest to this!

When the package arrived I laughed and thought to myself never in a million years did I think my Instagram (which I started solely for social media experience for my job at the time) would turn into what it has today. I will save my gratitude speech for another day but in all honesty I laughed a bit when I came home from work to find a detergent box sitting on my front door step…. Keep reading! John and I also had accidently pushed our laundry detergent back behind our washer and dryer which are stacked on top of each other in a closet just a few days prior to the pack. There is no way that either unit can be moved. Something about the way they build 1920’s homes makes almost everything impossible…. I will also save that story for another day. With all of this being said we gave the detergent a try! It honestly makes our home, our closet, our clothes and each other smell divine! You will have to try it for yourself but I promise you won’t be disappointed. I would not bother writing a post on this product if it wasn’t truth I was speaking. A. because I would never lie to you. B. because if you purchased the product and didn’t like it I would honestly feel sad. C. because I have no reason to lie.

 

Please let me know if you have tried to this product and what your thoughts/review on it is. I love to hear from you. It’s the only reason I post on Instagram and my blog these days. I love relationships and sharing about things I love and vice versa. 

Lastly, this is how I get all my outfits smelling and looking beautiful! Its the behind the scenes products that really make it. You should see my steamer ;) ..... I will save that product review for a different day!

It’s a love & highly dislike relationship… me and Instagram.

10 things I love about Instagram:

1. Creative outlet
2.  Inspires me
3. Learned how to style photographs
4.  Learned more about photography than I ever imagined
5. I have met people from all over the world I would never would have met otherwise
6.  I have collaborated with brands and been given opportunities I never imagined I’d be given
7. I made a goal to reach 10k following for no other reason than to say I did for social media experience. And I met my goal. I am proud of myself.
8. It’s a collection of photographs. I really love photos!
9. Always room to grow (if you view the platform like a business which I do) I can challenge myself to make new goals.
10.   The people who follow and leave me sweet comments, words of encouragement. They are the best part about Instagram!

 10 things I highly dislike (because the word hate should never have been created) about Instagram:

1. Comparison (it’s the thief of joy) you have all heard that quote and it is true. Comparison is an ugly word and act!
2. #9 above in the “I love” section also falls in the “I highly dislike” section too because its easy to be hard on yourself (and that’s not always good)
3. People feel the right to say whatever they want to others. That’s not okay and hurtful.
4. You can be who you want to be. That’s a great thing! But also a difficult thing as I wonder if feeds are often times a lie (as in its not really someone’s life if that makes sense)
5. I only want to post the pretty, good photos. Hard to post the icky photos.
6. On my android I could see the specific following count (I now have an IPhone so I can’t see) but I would get sad when I’d post a photo and lose 15 followers. It was a sick game!
7. It’s a time sucker (I let it! It’s my own fault!)
8. If you are “good enough” you can participate in “liketoknow.it” etc. I on the other hand was rejected and I still disagree with that decision. I really think that anyone who wants to participate in an app like that should have the opportunity as I want to link items feature in my photographs for all of you
9. Doesn’t have a smooth feature in the edits
10. It’s an amazing hobby but hard sometimes to find balance with the other areas of my life (my full time job, relationships etc.)

the minted exchange

the minted exchange  is such a fun shop to work with and who always has such cute items for purchase! I love T's and especially a T that is comfortable, unique and has structure (but that is still comfortable)! This T is just that and holds wash really well! I think that's always the true test... As I've had so many T's that don't wash well :( I styled this T with tennis shoes and distressed denim but I'd love to hear how you styled yours?

i stumbled across salt & pepper tees just be chance. (it was fate!!) i love a good graphic and the 2 featured below are just that. as of late its easy to throw on a graphic and a pair of distressed denim and call it good! requires little to no thought at all as to what i'm going to wear so i'll take it.
