on sunday morning john and i went to pike place market for coffee and flowers. we both wanted to pick out a bouquet for our mom in celebration of mother's day. i always enjoy going to the market. the parking, the walking hand in hand through the crowds of people, a pit stop at the doughnut shop and starbucks. we usually devour the entire bag of doughnuts and people watch while we sip on coffee. i like that we sort of have a pike place market routine. its still so much fun! this market trip was no different but on top of it we got to pick out flowers. john i think went for the biggest bouquet he could find but it WORKED! the flowers he chose were lovely. i stopped by a booth where you could pick the tulips yourself and wrap them. what a fun idea right? i sure thought so! my mom and i always gift each other tulips. it's sort of our thing.... so of course my mom loved these flowers and i also loved giving them to her. if you haven't been to seattle you have to! because you must the pike place market. i've lived here all my life but i still love to go.
i hope that all of the mother's out there had a wonderful mother's day.
Oh, what a nice flowers. I love markets :-)
